At Olmsted-Kirk Equipment & Supply, we never “spray” a product and “pray” that you buy it. Anybody can sell you paper towels and chemicals. We view ourselves as consultants that provide solutions to your janitorial/sanitation problems. As a client, you will receive a detailed analysis of your facilities, and we will create a plan to serve your needs in the most cost-effective manner possible.

We start by emphasizing quality equipment and its proper use. If necessary, we train your employees, and offer seminars to teach them the latest in cleaning techniques and demonstrate products available. In the event you hire additional cleaning staff, we train new employees at no extra cost. Olmsted-Kirk offers the most advanced and reliable equipment on the market. We have two technicians in Dallas to handle smaller machines, and we also provide our customers with the option to have one of our trucks pick up equipment. In addition to servicing our own line of equipment, we can repair most other brands.

However, we do not stop with equipment, training and maintenance. We constantly look for details to exceed the demands of our clients. For example, if a product is out of stock or if there is an increase in price, we will notify you in advance so you can plan accordingly. Further, we can accommodate your delivery scheduling if you have special requirements.

Experience
Olmsted-Kirk has been in the cleaning business for more than 100 years. Our sales representatives have on average 15 years of experience, with some surpassing 30 years of industry-relevant experience. Because we are veterans, we understand the needs of our clients regardless of industry. The sanitation requirements of a hospital are quite different from those of a manufacturer. We can provide you with the equipment, products and expertise regardless of your business sector.

For example, if you are in healthcare, we can train your employees with the proper procedures to eliminate cross contamination. Or, we can educate your cleaning team with the latest techniques on cleaning an occupied room. We are also experts in carpet cleaning, hardwood floors and the sanitization of restrooms.

Technology
We also maintain a showroom to allow you to see the latest equipment. We emphasize equipment because it is a key factor in productivity. Nobody has more employees than they need. Most companies likely have fewer, and there are never enough hours in the day to complete the cleaning processes needed to maintain your high facility standards.

Consumables, towels, tissues, hand soap, chemicals are not important if you sell equipment that does not work, or you cannot maintain or cannot train your people to use. Additionally, we can show you several machines that accomplish the same task, which allows you to make an informed buying decision. If you don’t want to come to the equipment, we can bring the equipment to you.

In addition to providing the latest products and equipment, we are constantly using technology to provide better service to our clients, especially with managing our warehouses and inventory. In most cases, we can provide next day or second day delivery.

Our People and Our Customers
We have an annual Olmsted-Kirk Equipment & Supply Chili Fest & Open House on the second Friday of every November. We host 2,000 customers and serve well over 1,000 pounds of chili. Additionally, we provide chicken breasts and other foods to our all of our valued customers. Our Chili Fest & Open House also features a live band. This event is not a sales-driven endeavor, rather it is simply another way we show our customers that we appreciate their business.

We have bricks & mortar, technology infrastructure and an extensive inventory. However, our people and our customers are the lifeblood of our company.
